Abby's party

Abby's second birthday party was a night to remember! Hunter and I were pleased to host. Sarah and Benson hit a home run with all the decorations, food, games and costumes! We love parties. We love Abby.

Witches

When I was three years old I was a witch for Halloween. I was probably the cutest darling witch you'd ever seen. Maybe not. But probably.

I've dressed up as a witch more than any other costume and each year when I plan my 'new' costume for the year I still always try to wear my witch gear to one party, at least.

Since my three year old days, I've added a black wig, a velvet dress, green skin and red lips.

This year I'm playing up the witch theme at home.

You'll also remember I saw this gal pal at Wal Mart:

And those are my witches.

Everything is great

Life has been particularly cool lately. Thanks, life. Stuff going on includes....

Making bats. And other Halloween decoration delights.

Buying my first pajama set and taking nighttime selfies because my hair was looking fab.

Walmart. Not a fan of this place. But they are the only retailer to carry three items I must have in my life: Sally Hansen face hair remover cream, cheap cocoa lotion (anyone else use that stuff??? Soooooo good) and the best pumpkin spice candle ever.  And this darling was greeting me at the door.  Hi, friend.
(Also- I hesitated to ask someone to snap this photo for me but then I realized I was in wal mart and no one would probably even sinch at such a quirky request. I was wrong.) And again- thank you hair, looking fab.

Became obsessed with Jimmy Johns. I don't even know why. I mean their sandwiches are decent but now I get excited everytime I see one. Hunter sent me this photo because he is very aware of my interests and joys because he is a great husband.

Memorizing this. I decided I should memorize scriptures. If I quote music and movies and TV all the time- why not the good word?

I want this towel. And to go to Antigua.

Made this. Feels really good to start and FINISH something creative. Also had a lunch date with Jenny and Andrea and June and Fox this same day. So now this cute bag will always make me think of them. Precious.

Can't get enough of this girl. My niece. Abby. Sometimes I think about her or see pictures of her and I cry because she is so cool and I just love her so much!

Want to buy this for my dad. It's from Pottery Barn Kids.

Windows are finally open because AZ is considering Fall- but only in the evenings. Hunter busted out his onsie. And we had Defalcos for dinner. So many good things happening here.

Made a guest appearance at the GHS football game. Being an alumni I feel I should show up to these a little more often. Or not. But we randomly stopped by and it was homecoming game! Go tigers! The night was beautiful and the score was beautiful. Tigers first win of the season- 31/13!!

Our cousin Troy (far left) has been living in Tempe for two months and we just found out. Offended? Maybe. He finally came to a family Sunday dinner and here he is with brother Todd and squinty faced Hunter. Apparently they like to cuddle.

Watched Conference. From the couch bed. Conference just is special. I literally shout out 'yeah!'s or pump my fist when I hear the Brethren firmly state truth and doctrine so boldly but with so much love. Hunter doesn't get parts of me still.... Like the fist pumping part. But he's so happy we have the guiding light of modern living prophets- just like me.

And. I finally GET this show. And I like it.
