June Stuff 2016

Okay I'm just going to narrate our month of June with a few pictures.  Not much happening, but each day has been fun and filled with Summer stuff!

First our garden.  It was doing really well.  Like really well.  But then, we had CRAZY hot heat for June here in AZ.  Record breaking 120 degrees.  For reals.  So our tomatoes came fast but then slowed down after a few weeks.

I shared a bunch and made a lot of pasta sauce which is resting in my freezer for nights when I can't handle making dinner.

Henry continues to be the love of my life.  I enjoy each day with him.  Really.  I had a little hiccup though, in my personal emotional state.  Just a set back in life that I wasn't ready for.  I am much better now.  But I was a little sad for a while.  Again, much better now.

I love when he points like this.  Almost a mix between a bossy kid and a genius inventor who is like "I got it!"

And his blueberry lips.  Smooch!

Taking a dip in the baby pool.

I took a night out with some gal pals and Henry went with Hunter to Chic fil A where he discovered ketchup.

A night later we were grabbing ice cream as a family after some yummy Chinese food.  Henry was elated to be on his dad's shoulders and playing peek a boo around the store with me.

Getting as much watermelon as he can one Sunday at my parents.  He got totally soaked with watermelon juice.  So we brought him out to the dog's washing table and my dad hosed him off.

Mornings or anytime of day are great when we cozy in our bed.  Henry is soooo good at peek a boo.  And he loves to sit up and pat me and then free fall backwards on to his back on the bed.  And then we laugh so hard.

I spent a couple of nights and a day at the lake with the Young Women 4th year campers.  15-16 year old girls.  We had a luau one night learning to dance and eating the yummiest food.  And then a whole day of paddle boarding, boating and canoeing.

My lake hat.

Father's Day was precious.  And Henry is a full time walker now.

Henry watches me work in the kitchen.

We swim every day.  This was a Saturday so Hunter could join us.

Staying busy in SHORTS AND SANDALS at church.  The cutest.

Twinning with Nona.

Kayla comes over about once a week to help and hang out.  We LOVE her!  She has been gone for about a whole month doing lots of fun stuff. She is back! And we made pina coladas to celebrate.

Last night Henry didn't want to sleep.  He didn't cry.  He was in a great mood.  But didn't go to sleep until 11pm.  I'm not sure what's going on.  I think he maybe is done with two naps?  Anyways.  So we took a family selfie.

7th Anniversary! xoxo

Hunter and I celebrated our seventh year wedding anniversary on May 29th!  And there's no itchin' here!  Hunter continues to be my best friend and favorite person.  He makes me calm.  I love being able to talk to him about all that's going on in my mind.  He gets it.  He helps, he laughs, he agrees, he disagrees, he shows me the way.

We spent a good 24 hours at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.  We've done this twice now.  It's just really nice.  It also happened to be a record breaking heat day in Phoenix!  The poolside tho, was fresh and fun.  The pool was cool and so were are drinks!  Our waitress at dinner helped us celebrate with a fancy dessert.  I loved the time to just chill with Hunter and talk so much.

My favorite was Friday night- after dinner we went back to the pool which was now empty and found some floaty loungers.  We floated and talked.  And I fell asleep for probably about two minutes right there.  The air was still warm but the pool was sooooo cool and refreshing.  We stayed until about 11pm when I really was falling asleep!

I love you, Hunter!  Thanks for being my person.

You can almost see how hot it is!!
