San Francisco // Day 3

Our last full day in San Francisco was another dream!
This day was so incredibly HOT.  Being from Arizona we were pretty excited to have some cooler weather with sweaters and hats.
It was kind of disappointing to be THIS HOT in a city known for its cool windy breeze.
But in retro-spect I know that the weather was perfect for us.  We know how to do hot weather.  And I am extremely grateful it wasn't cloudy or rainy like it had been two weeks prior to our visit in San Francisco.

Henry was strapped to Hunter most of the day.  And honestly, Henry didn't want to hang out with me much that day! It was fine because he just wanted his dad.

Lots of buses and even more naps this day.

Went downtown to the financial district and to the Ferry Marketplace.  We had breakfast/ lunch there.

Our view for our meal:

The bay bridge is beautiful.  That day was super blue all over.

Took a street car over to Pier 39.

Getting Hunter's family here so we can take a Ferry ride around the Bay.

While we waited we watched the sea lions.

Taking off on our boat ride:

I love their matching faces:

This beautiful, clear, blue day!

After, we took a trolly ride up to Union Square.

And then walked down to Chinatown.

All the way through until the Italian District for delicious Molinari's deli food and Stella Pastry.

My recently late Auntie Toni would go to Stella Pastry when she would frequently visit San Francisco.  This cake below she was particularly fond of.  In fact when we were in Italy a few years ago we searched and searched around for this cake.  Come to find out- it originated here in San Francisco at Stella's.
It was special to be in the same place I knew she had been so many times.

Took a late afternoon bus ride home.  It took a good 45 minutes to get back to our place.

We hustled to clean up, freshen up, feed Henry and load our van.  We met up with the Brough's for dinner.  They are from Gilbert too, but were vacationing in San Francisco as well.  It was a very fun dinner and very good food.
