Abuelito's Birthday

The day after we got home from the beach is was DAD's birthday!  

My dad is honestly one of the most positive, funny, hardworking, generous, 

happy people I know. 

He looooves babies and kids and this probably just about the best time in his life that he has a grandson.  He is Dad to me and Abuelito to Henry.  

We gathered at our family's favorite breakfast place- Matt's Big Breakfast in Phoenix.  

Dad loves the eggs benedict which is a Thursday special which just happened to be his birthday!

Happy 27 to me! No pictures bc I'm lame.... But it was a super weekend! Hunter took good care of me with shopping, special dinner date, breakfast, doing the dishes and a sweet love note which was my favorite.

My lovely 8th grade girls choir broke into the classroom and decorated for me and brought cookies and presents.

I had constant emails and texts and knocks and the door with kind friends and family wishing me a good day. I am such a lucky girl.

Then a super super yummy Mexican dinner at the Garners with beans and chili rellenos! My new favorite.- which I should maybe tone down my love for beans bc when I blew out my candles

my 4 year old nephew asked what I wished for. I said I'm not telling! And he said with total seriousness... "did you wish for beans?"

I've been cleaning?

Our friends, Kim and HL, moved into their new house that we've all been anticipating!  Hunter and I went over to give support and help out a little bit.  It was also Kim's birthday!  They are great new friends and we were glad to be there for them!  

*HL is not challenged... he is making a stupid face.  Kim was not pleased when she saw this picture.
